Progressive Web Apps are for everyone—the techniques and tools are framework- and library-agnostic, which means you can approach building PWAs any way you please.

This week, we look at how to build PWAs using both Angular and VueJS. Even if you're not interested in either framework, each article is worth a skim, as it illuminates some of the techniques and problems PWAs run into when using JavaScript-heavy frameworks (performance, performance, performance).

To start off this week, though, we pick up where we left off last week, with Why Native Apps Really Are Doomed by Eric Elliott, a sequel to last week's Why Native Apps Are Doomed. Every argument in favor of PWAs can be found in these two articles, along with a reasonable consideration of the downsides. The manifesto of progressive web apps, if you will.
