Intro

"Literally any website can — and should — be a progressive web app."

That's Jeremy Keith's main argument in his article, "Progressing the Web." And he's right. Making your app (or your static site) progressive is about offering an enhanced experienced for ALL your users. A good read for anyone tentative to jump into the world of PWAs.

Once you're sold on the progressive web, though, Samsung Internet Developers has a short & sweet tutorial for you to get started.

We end this week's issue with a fascinating look at 'designed degradation'—or, how a Chipotle restaurant can help improve your website. This article isn't about PWAs in particular, but fits right in with the idea of Progressive Enhancement—the concept that your website should work for everyone, and then get better and better depending on their conditions (network speed, browser modernity, etc.)
